Our task was to design a new bottle for the brand of Lomza beer owned by the Van Pur brewery. The aim of the project was to obtain a glass packaging that emphasized regionalism and historical brand identity while preserving its existing, consumer-liked attributes.
The research we have conducted has confirmed that the current shape of a bottle of Lomza (so called Vichy bottle) is liked by consumers. They appreciate its slimness. That is why our project has emphasized this feature yet. We obtained a simple but very characteristic shape. The novelty is extrusion on a bottle, which refers to the tradition of the brewery - it is a renewed version of the brewery mark from several decades ago. On the bottle neck there are 4 such extrusions. Several dozen variants of the bottle were created within the process. For technical optimization, close cooperation with glassworks was required.
